As we are all aware, her performances on the Global stage saw her excel over 400m individually along with being key to the 4x400m mixed and women’s relay squad success, anchoring the team home. Her world class performances unfolded Globally in the summer of 24′ starting in the Bahamas (May) with the World Athletic Relay Championships, then it was onto Rome for the European Championships (June) and concluding with the pinnacle Olympic Games in Paris last August.
A lovely occasion took place in her hometown of Newport on Sunday 18th of August where Sharlene was welcomed home by 100s of supporters who paid tribute to the athlete’s achievements this season. These achievements include;
