The Munster juvenile track season concluded with the running of the Juvenile B Track Championship  in Templemore. We had good entries from Tipperary clubs. Click here for results

Highlights were

Middle Distance

The Girls U9 300m saw  Lauren Casey (Moycarkey-Coolcroo AC) & Emily Cahill (Clonmel AC) take gold & silver. Emily Hickey (Nenagh Olympic AC) won the Girls U10 500m. Cillian Boucher (Templemore AC) took the Boys U11 600m gold. Ella O’Donovan (Moyne AC) took silver in the Timed Girls U11 600m. Cormac Hanrahan (Nenagh Olympic AC) won the Boys U12 600m with Evan Savage (Newport AC) taking bronze. Billy Heaney (Clonmel AC) won bronze in the Boys U13 600m. Jack Noonan (Newport AC) took silver in the Boys U14 800m. Jack Grimes (Newport AC) took gold in the Boys U15 800m and Katelyn Shanahan (Dundrum AC) secured gold in the Girls U15 800m.

Long Jumps

Scott Nevin (Nenagh Olympic AC) took silver in the Boys U9 Long Jump. In the Girls U9 Long Jump, Alice Farrell (Dundrum AC) & Croídhe Kelly (Nenagh Olympic AC) took silver & bronze. Donie Cawley (Nenagh Olympic AC) took silver in the Boys U10 Long Jump. Cillian Boucher (Templemore AC) added to his gold haul with victory in the U11 Long Jump. Grace Cantwell took silver in the Girls U12 Long Jump. A Tipperary clean sweep occurred in the Girls U13 Long Jump with Mollie Cahill (Templemore AC), Enya Ryan (Nenagh Olympic AC) & Megan O’Sullivan (Templemore AC) respectively. Newport ACs Calvin Grimes & Cathal Grimes won silver & bronze in the Boys U15 Long Jump.

High Jumps

Saoirse Dunphy (Moyne AC) took gold in the Girls U12 High Jump, with Fiadh Ryan (Dundrum AC) taking bronze. Seamus O’Brien (Templemore AC) got silver in the U13 High Jump. Órlaith Costigan (Moyne AC) won a silver in the U13 competition. Tom Renehan (Moyne AC) & Julie Morrissey (Dundrum AC) won silver in their respective U14 jumps. Finally, Saoirse Joyce (Moyne AC) took gold in the Girls U15 High Jump.

 

 

Turbo Javelin

Emily Cahill (Clonmel AC) won gold in the U9 TJ followed by gold for Hannah Quinn (Nenagh Olympic AC) in the U10 TJ. James Delaney (Moyne AC) took gold in the U11 TJ, and Zoë Massey (Clonmel AC) taking bronze in the equivalent age category. Evan Savage (Newport AC) won gold in the U12 TJ with his teammates Kate O’Mahoney & Grainne Shanahan taking gold & silver  in their respective age competition.

Shot Putt

In the U12 (2Kg), Tom Carroll & Liam Walsh (Clonmel AC) took silver & bronze, while in the Girls U12, Grainne Shanahan (Newport AC) took gold with Fiadh Meehan (Clonmel AC) securing bronze. Kyle Corcoran (Templemore AC) won gold in the U13 (2kg) with his teammates Mollie Cahill taking bronze in in U13 (2kg) and Karli Morrissey taking silver in the U15 Girls 2.72kg.

Sprints

Cormac Hanrahan (Nenagh Olympic AC) took bronze in the U12 80m, with Billy Heaney (Clonmel AC) getting bronze in the U13 80m. John Prendergast (Clonmel AC)  took gold in the U14 80m. Lauren Casey (Moycarkey-Coolcroo AC) won bronze in the U9 6om. Annabelle Butler (Moyne AC) took gold in the U12 80m with Clodagh Walsh (Nenagh Olympic AC) securing gold in the U13 80m.
