We are delighted to announce a unique collaboration between the Irish Milers Club (IMC) and Tipperary Athletics for a high-performance track and field meet in Clonmel on Saturday, 2nd May 2026.

This exciting initiative provides a premier platform for athletes to showcase their talents and perform in a high-energy environment. Hosted at the TUS Regional Sports Hub, this meet integrates several Tipperary County Championship events into the popular IMC program.

  • Date: Saturday, 2nd May 2026

  • Venue: TUS Regional Sports Hub, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary

  • Start Time: TBC (Full timetable to follow)

🏆 Tipperary County Championship Events

The following Championship events will be contested on the day. Please note the specific categories for each:

Track Events

  • Senior Championships: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m & 1500m.

  • Junior Championships: 800m.

Field Events (The Dr. Pat Callaghan Gala)

  • Hammer & Shot Put: All categories — Junior, Senior, and Master.

📝 Entry & Registration

Entry processes differ depending on the event type. Entries for the IMC events open on Sunday, 15th February 2026.

Important Note: To be eligible for County medals, athletes must be currently registered with a Tipperary-affiliated club for the 2026 season.
