One particular highlight of the weekend was the performance of Alex Thompson Dwyer (Templemore AC) in the Boys U15 3kg Hammer competition. Alex threw a massive 60.64m, which may be a county record for that age group, but to put that throw into perspective, the current Irish U15 record is 70.21m held by Thomas Williams.
